Yves Murasca is a DJ, producer and label head who’s spent the better part of two decades quietly shaping his own corner of the house music world. Born and raised in a small village in Southern Germany, his path into music started early, with classical lessons at the age of five. But it wasn’t until his teenage years—fuelled by a deep love for 90s hip-hop groups like Gang Starr and The Roots—that he began to discover his own rhythm: one rooted in soul, groove and honest musicality.
Then, whilst living in Ibiza for two seasons, Yves picked up the DJing bug and was booked consistently for the years that followed. The passion in the clubs soon crossed over to his productions and before long, Yves was able to boast some stunning releases ranging from ‘Saxophobic Satisfaction’ as debut single and then ‘All About Housemusic’ on Milk & Sugar Recordings, which sold out two vinyl editions and whipped up thousands of downloads online. His second standout release on Milk & Sugar was his collaboration with Chicago house legend Ron Carroll—‘Everyone’—a raw, underground house production with wide support across clubland. Another notable moment came with his remix of Milk & Sugar feat. Maria Marquez – Canto Del Pilon, one of Milk & Sugar’s most successful releases to date.
In 2013, Yves took a new turn by founding his own imprint, Déepalma Records. From that point on, almost all of his original productions found a home under his own roof—with two key exceptions. In 2016, he teamed up with Rosario Galati for the ‘Hypnotize’ EP’ on Kittball, delivering two deep/tech-house cuts that landed in countless charts and received heavy club support. Luminary Dennis Ferrer, in particular, made ‘I Don’t Need You’ a summer staple across his sets that year. The pair followed up in 2017 with ‘The Light’, featuring Chasing Kurt—another exceptional track that pushed things forward.
Earlier that same year, Yves also dropped his solo single ‘Right On’ on Déepalma, a warm and melodic cut that reached over two million views on YouTube and more than a million combined plays on Spotify. The release hit the Top 100 charts of several key download stores, picked up licensing interest around the world, and gained support from names like Mark Knight, Laidback Luke and Wankelmut.
The second half of 2017 brought more collaborations with Rosario Galati: ‘From The Stars’, again on Déepalma, and the official release of ‘The Light’. Both received strong support from across the house music spectrum, with artists like Gorgon City, David Penn and Claptone spinning the tracks, along with solid blog and radio attention that carried through into the Ibiza season.
In the years that followed, Yves kept refining his sound. Releases like ‘Kalura’ (again with Galati and remixed by Gorge) and ‘Love This Life’ (with Galati and Karolyn Haze) reflected a more relaxed, Balearic side—guitar-infused and sun-drenched, resonating well with Ibiza audiences and beyond. Tracks like ‘Inner World’, ‘Be Sure To Let Go’ and ‘Close Your Eyes’ followed—each receiving their own fair share of DJ and radio love.

As a DJ, Yves has played his way around the globe—from Europe to South, Central and North America—with notable stops at Amsterdam Dance Event, Nature One and Zurich’s Street Parade. In Ibiza, he held slots at legendary venues like Bora Bora and Manumission Motel, and back home in Germany, at Pacha in Munich.
Since the foundation of Déepalma Records, Yves has steadily developed the label into a respected player in the international scene. Over the past decade, Déepalma and its sub-label Déepalma Soul have released more than 250 singles/eps and 30 compilations. The label’s catalogue features a carefully curated blend of artists, including Gorge, Dario D’Attis, Miguel Campbell, Satin Jackets, Lexer, Angelo Ferreri, Pretty Pink, Karol XVII & MB Valence, Rosario Galati and Yves himself. Its acclaimed compilation series Déepalma Ibiza and Ibiza Winter Moods have also continued to bring together tracks from scene heavyweights such as Claptone, David Penn, Purple Disco Machine, Tube & Berger, Kölsch, Eelke Kleijn and Maya Jane Coles.
Along the way, the label has received ongoing support from respected media outlets including Germany’s FAZE Magazine and SMAG Live Magazine, online platforms like Data Transmission, Music Is 4 Lovers, House Music With Love and DMC World, as well as radio stations such as BBC Radio 1, Ibiza Global Radio, Radio FG and PURE FM Berlin. YouTube tastemakers like Selected have helped amplify the label’s reach even further.
These days, Yves keeps his touring schedule light—playing just a handful of carefully chosen shows each year. His main focus has shifted towards the label and the artists around it, passing on the knowledge and experience he’s gained along the way, while continuing to push forward the sound that inspired him in the first place.
