Kicking off a brand-new artist-focused series, Déepalma Records proudly presents the first edition of its Déepalma Spotlight series — shining a light on the label’s longtime collaborators and creative forces who’ve helped shape its sound and story. First up is none other than Mika Olson, a name synonymous with the imprint’s signature blend of soul, groove, and sun-drenched sophistication.

Déepalma Spotlight: Mika Olson gathers 13 essential cuts from the German-born, Spain-based producer — 12 originalsand a standout remix of “Carry On” by Rosario Galati and Yves Murasca — tracing his evolution from early deep grooves to modern, floor-focused precision. The compilation includes underground favourites like What I Need and Tomorrow, alongside a curated selection of tracks that capture Mika’s distinct musical fingerprint: a seamless fusion of classic house warmth and contemporary production flair.

Having first joined the Déepalma family back in 2014 with his debut Now & Here, Mika has since become one of the label’s most trusted contributors. Influenced by the electronic sounds of the ’80s and ’90s, his inventive productions and dynamic DJ sets have made him a fixture on the European dance circuit, continuously bridging timeless house energy with modern emotion.
