Kai Hillmann & Vaki return to Déepalma with the soulful afro house cut ‘So Good’

German DJ and producer Kai Hillmann reunites with French Polynesian artist Vaki for their latest single So Good, arriving on Déepalma Records on April 24th, 2026. Building on a growing catalog of collaborations, the duo once again showcases their natural creative synergy with a track designed for both emotional connection and dancefloor impact.

So Good is defined by its interplay of textures and moods. Smooth, expressive female vocals float over warm Rhodes chords, while lush pads create a spacious, inviting atmosphere. A sharp, energetic lead synth cuts through the mix, injecting momentum as tight percussion and dynamic drum fills drive the groove forward. The result is a finely balanced production that blends depth with rhythmic intensity.

This release continues a strong phase for Hillmann, following a series of well-received tracks including Don’t Feel the Same, Long Way, Alone, and his remix of Mika Olson’s Tomorrow. Renowned for his melodic sensibility and emotionally driven performances, he has honed his sound across iconic venues such as Sisyphos and Kater Blau, alongside appearances throughout Europe, Mexico, and Bora Bora.

Vaki, an influential name within the French Polynesian electronic scene, adds his distinctive production style to the collaboration. Having previously teamed up with Hillmann, their musical connection continues to evolve, with more projects already in motion—including a forthcoming contribution to the Déepalma Ibiza 2026 compilation.

With So Good, Kai Hillmann and Vaki deliver a vibrant and soulful afro house track that feels equally suited to sunlit open-air settings and late-night dancefloors—another standout addition to the ever-expanding Déepalma repertoire.
