Perth-based producer and DJ Green George steps back into the Déepalma spotlight this month with a stunning new release that walks the line between deep club energy and atmospheric introspection. Out August 22, 2025, the two-track offering—featuring ‘Power Over Me’ and ‘Up For Air’ (with Timmy Nelson)—is a refined slice of organic house that showcases Green George’s evolving emotional range as a producer.

Already known for releases on The Purr, Café De Anatolia, Wired, and previous Déepalma EPs like For You / Gathie and Ofana Nawe / See You, Green George has carved a space for himself not only in the studio but on the live circuit—gracing stages for Claptone’s The Masquerade, Elrow, and Carl Cox Presents PURE, playing alongside legends like Carl Cox, CamelPhat, and Hot Since 82.

‘Power Over Me’, the lead cut, is a driving, emotionally charged roller—anchored by male vocals, ethereal female adlibs, and layered with lush piano, arpeggiated synths, and flying atmospherics. It’s an evocative trip through late-night moods and reflective moments on the dancefloor.

On the flip, ‘Up For Air’ takes things into more laid-back territory, pulling in multi-award-winning singer-songwriter Timothy Nelson (aka Timmy Nelson) for a collaborative deep dive into organic groove and meditative tone.
