Déepalma chief Yves Murasca reunites with longtime studio partner and Sicilian groove architect Rosario Galati for Special Man, a rich slice of organic house landing 20th March 2026 via Déepalma Records.
Fresh from the late-February release of Never 2.0—a high-intensity deep house rework that reignited one of Yves’ most recognisable vocal hooks—the duo now lean into something deeper, warmer and more emotionally charged. Where its predecessor aimed squarely at peak-time pressure, Special Man breathes. It stretches out. It seduces.
Built on sultry piano chords that ripple with late-night soul, the track unfolds around a hypnotic synth arpeggio and a thick, bass-heavy groove that anchors the floor from the first bar. The real magic, though, lies in the vocal—a soaring, gospel-tinged female performance that radiates depth and vulnerability, lifting the production into spine-tingling territory. It’s organic house with genuine musicality at its core: textured, patient and drenched in feeling.
For Yves, the release marks another chapter in a journey that began with classical training at the age of five before evolving into a globe-spanning DJ career and, ultimately, the founding of Déepalma in 2013. Under his direction, the label has grown into a respected international platform, now boasting more than 250 singles and EPs alongside 30 carefully curated compilations. Its Ibiza-rooted aesthetic—sun-drenched, groove-led, melodically refined—has become a calling card, with regular support from influential tastemaker platforms, international radio stations and leading electronic music media.
Rosario Galati’s story runs parallel. A vinyl devotee since his early teens, the Sicilian producer has spent over a decade refining a sound built on detailed sound design and layered emotion. His early collaborations with the Déepalma camp helped establish him as a key figure in contemporary deep and tech house, with multiple chart placements across major download stores and consistent rotation on global radio. Studio-driven and dancefloor-focused, his productions are crafted with one aim: to move both body and spirit.
On Special Man, that shared philosophy is crystal clear. The arrangement flows effortlessly, the groove hits with intent, and the musical elements feel lived-in rather than looped. It’s a record made for golden-hour terraces, intimate club moments and those extended sets where storytelling matters more than drops.
With this latest offering, Murasca and Galati reaffirm their chemistry—evolving their sound while staying true to the soulful DNA that defines the Déepalma universe. Organic house, executed with heart.
